桜塚星史郎 SEISHIRO SAKURAZUKA
作中で星史郎は「桜塚護（さくらづかもり）」という暗殺集団（実際には一人ですが・・）なのですが、この「桜塚」という名前にもギミックがあるのではないでしょうか。
In the story, Seishiro is part of a group of assassins called “Sakurazukamori” (actually, he’s just one person…), and I think the name “Sakurazuka” has a gimmick.
「桜」とは言わずと知れた日本の国花です。そして「塚」には単純に「盛り上がった台地」という意味もありますが、古くから「墓地」としても意味されてきました。
“Sakura (cherry blossom in English)” is the national flower of Japan. The word “tsuka” *simply means “rising plateau”, but it has also been used as a “cemetery” since ancient times.

「桜塚」も「桜」と「塚」に分けるとSakura-zuka と後の単語の頭が濁音になります。

星史郎は作中で、とある宗教団体の教祖の暗殺を実行します。
この教祖は「６年後に日本に会員数三百万を越す新新興宗教団体を作る」と星史郎は言います。「そうなるとちょっと困ってしまうんです」という星史郎に対して、女性指導者は
誰が困るのか？と問いかけます。「誰でしょうね」と星史郎は答えます。
Seishiro is plotting to assassinate the female leader of a certain religious group.
“Six years from now, this guru will create a new religious group with over three million followers in Japan,” says Seishiro.
“It would be a bit of a problem if that happened,” says Kiyoshiro, who is in trouble? she asked.
“I wonder who…” Kiyoshiro replied.
この問いかけで「桜塚護」が単に個人の依頼で暗殺を請け負う存在ではないことが想像できます。
With this question, you can imagine that “Sakurazukamori” is not just a person who undertakes assassinations at the request of individuals.
